And the bad? It\u2019s an <a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/topic\/escooter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">escooter<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Meet the (Jeep) RX200<\/h3>\n<p><span>For its entrance into the escooter market, Jeep partnered with Razor. The new version is colored <\/span><span>army green, bears the Jeep logo, and comes with dual headlights.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Other than that though, the Jeep RX200 doesn\u2019t differ much from the original, which appears to have the same specs and is priced at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Razor-RX200-Electric-Off-Road-Scooter\/dp\/B00SYKYAJU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">$279.99 on Amazon right now<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Both models come with a somewhat <\/span><span>underpowered 200W motor that uses a chain to drive the rear wheel. This isn\u2019t something that\u2019s meant for long or fast rides.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>But in my opinion, the Jeep\u2019s $499 price tag doesn\u2019t justify what\u2019s on offer.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>It\u2019s still pretty affordable compared to other off-road models on the market (such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dualtron-uk.com\/products\/dualtron-ultra-ii-electric-scooter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Dualtron Ultra<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dualtron-uk.com\/products\/dualtron-ultra-ii-electric-scooter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"> II<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nan-robot.com\/products\/d5-10-2000w-52v26ah\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Nanrobot D5+<\/a>) \u2014 but these are just better machines. You\u2019re basically just paying for the Jeep logo.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>That being said, it\u2019s important to note that this is Jeep\u2019s second attempt to enter the microbility market. In 2020, the brand collaborated with Quitekat to introduce <a href=\"https:\/\/quietkat.com\/products\/jeep-e-bike\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">its first electric mountain bike<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Let\u2019s hope the company eventually bites the bullet and makes an electric car \u2014 but, on current evidence, I\u2019m not holding out much hope.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/news\/jeep-is-making-rx200-escooter-but-color-me-underwhelmed\">Source<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For those of you looking forward to an electric Jeep, we have some good news and some bad news.
