It\u2019s that time again, people! The long-awaited<\/a> iOS 15.4 is finally here \u2014 and that means one thing and one thing only: it\u2019s time to rank the new features soon to be on your iPhone<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve done this a few times before \u2014 whether that\u2019s rating each iOS 14.5 update by how much they\u2019ll annoy Zuckerberg<\/a>, or those in iOS 14.7 by how useful the new features would be in space<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And this time? Well, we\u2019re gonna be boring and rank them from worst to best. What? Don\u2019t complain! All this means is the next Apple<\/a> ranking will be even stranger.<\/p>\n

THE WORST NEW iOS 15.4 FEATURE: 7) Podcast filters<\/h2>\n

The update itself isn\u2019t too bad. Basically, on iOS 15.4, you can filter a show\u2019s episodes by things like played or downloaded.<\/p>\n

On top of this, you can also easily browser a podcast\u2019s seasons.<\/p>\n

Sounds fine, right? Why\u2019s it on the bottom? Well, that\u2019s because the Podcast app still fucking sucks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Syncing across devices is a mess. Often, I\u2019ll open the app and the episode I\u2019ll be listening to will have disappeared. Or it\u2019ll have gone back to the beginning of the podcast.<\/p>\n

Frustrating is an understatement \u2014 and Apple should\u2019ve used iOS 15.4 to fix the Podcast app.<\/p>\n

But it didn\u2019t. And it remains the worst.<\/p>\n
