The system then fills in the blanks by predicting how light would behave in the real world.<\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cInstant NeRF could be as important to 3D as digital cameras and JPEG compression have been to 2D photography \u2014 vastly increasing the speed, ease, and reach of 3D capture and sharing,\u201d said David Luebke, VP for graphics research at Nvidia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Nvidia unveiled the technique&nbsp;in an <a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/topic\/artificial-intelligence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AI<\/a> tribute to Polaroid icon: Andy Warhol.<\/p>\n<p>The computing giant recreated a fabled photo<span><\/span>&nbsp;of the pop artist with his camera.
