It\u2019s being reimagined as a whole new <a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/topic\/ev\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">EV<\/a> by the incarnated DMC, which was acquired by Stephen Wynne in 1995, after the original company declared bankruptcy.<\/p>\n<p>After months of anticipation since it was<a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/news\/everything-we-know-about-upcoming-delorean-ev\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> first teased<\/a>, we finally get the <a href=\"https:\/\/delorean.com\/alpha5\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">first proper look<\/a> of this unique vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Meet the now-called Alpha5+:<\/p>\n<figure sports coup\u00e9 character, the turbine-style wheels, and the iconic gull-wing doors.<\/p>\n<p>It was also designed by Italdesign, the same company that dreamed up the original.<\/p>\n<figure battery \u2014 good \u201cfor more than 483km (300 miles) of range.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Its top speed is estimated to be 250km (155mph), and it can accelerate from zero to 60mph in 2.99
