{"id":13193,"date":"2023-06-28T16:26:22","date_gmt":"2023-06-28T16:26:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/TheNextWeb=1397774"},"modified":"2023-06-28T16:26:22","modified_gmt":"2023-06-28T16:26:22","slug":"uk-taps-digital-twin-in-bid-for-worlds-first-fusion-power-plant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.londonchiropracter.com\/?p=13193","title":{"rendered":"UK taps digital twin in bid for world\u2019s first fusion power plant"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The UK\u2019s dream of having the world\u2019s first commercial nuclear fusion power plant has taken a digital turn.<\/p>\n<p>As part of plans to put fusion energy on the&nbsp;grid by 2040, a digital twin of the reactor is now being built.<\/p>\n<p>The virtual model will be used to design the power plant, which aims to unleash the immense promise of fusion energy.<\/p>\n<p>With the<span> potential to provide abundant clean energy, fusion is frequently called the \u201choly grail\u201d of power sources. Unfortunately, it\u2019s also immensely complex. Sign up now!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>To accelerate the process, the UK\u2019s<span>&nbsp;Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) is working with Intel, Dell<\/span>, and Cambridge University to create the digital twin.<\/p>\n<p>Scientists will use the virtual model to develop the reactor.
