However, according to Musk, the EV maker has found ways to improve its range as they\u2019ve been testing prototypes of the haulage wagon.<\/p>\n Musk touted the potential improvements to the range in an interview yesterday<\/a>, and added that getting a range of 500 km (310 miles) is \u201cquite easy.\u201d For long-range trucking Tesla thinks it can easily take the range up to 800 km (500 miles), but over time there is a path to 1,000 km (621 miles).<\/p>\n A year ago, DriveTribe reported a real-world sighting<\/a> of the Tesla semi.
