Northzone described the <a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/topic\/startups\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">startup<\/a> as \u201cthe future of SME banking in Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFinom has a truly best-in-class core banking product, which forms the backbone of their customers\u2019 financial stack,\u201d Northzone partner Sanjot Malhi said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>However, the true platform potential of Finom is seen through its payments and microservices software offering for SMEs, with clear demonstrated success across several major Western European economies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The fresh cash injection takes the startup\u2019s total funding to over \u20ac100mn. Finom will use the new <span><span>capital<\/span><\/span> to enhance its core products, recruit new talent, and&nbsp;accelerate its expansion across Europe.
