Investors have also extended \u20ac3.5mn from earlier bonds, bringing the total <a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/topic\/funding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">funding<\/a> to over \u20ac27.5mn.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2012, the <a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/topic\/startup\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">startup<\/a> provides over 280 fast charging stations across several European countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and France. In January last year, it announced an expansion to Spain as well.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers can add up to 300km of range in about 15 minutes, depending on the <a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/topic\/ev\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EV<\/a> type. Notably, Fastned provides electricity using renewable energy from solar and wind power.<\/p>\n<p>Fastned offers both a subscription and pay-on-the-go service.
