The Californian company described the acquisition as \u201ca significant step\u201d towards delivering end-to-end AI solutions. Registration now!<\/p>\n<p><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>At the time, the company said its ultimate goal was to build LLMs for every EU language.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe consider multilingual LLMs to constitute a part of Europe\u2019s digital infrastructure,\u201d <span>Peter Sarlin, Silo\u2019s CEO, told TNW.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The startup\u2019s models will now also constitute a part of a US company. AMD said Silo\u2019s team will build LLM\u2019s on the chipmakers platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Those plans remains subject to regulatory approval. AMD expects to close the deal in the second half of this year.
