Registration now!<\/p>\n<p><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The fund was created through the joint effort of local ecosystem players Triade, RUG Ventures, NV NOM, and Investeringsfonds Groningen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFuture Tech Ventures is the result of years of collaboration between experienced parties in the Northern Netherlands,\u201d said Edward van der Meer, director of Triade.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy bringing together the strengths of [these partners] we can better support startups and position the region as a hotspot for high-tech innovation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>North Holland (which includes Amsterdam), South Holland, and North Brabant represent the largest startup clusters in the Netherlands. In 2023, they attracted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.impactcity.nl\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/impactcity\/2024\/03\/State-of-Dutch-Tech-2024-Report-by-Techleap-gecomprimeerd.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">85%<\/a> of the total Dutch VC investment.<\/p>\n<p>But efforts to strengthen the startup hubs across the entire country are increasing.<\/p>\n<p>Future Tech Ventures was launched yesterday alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.founded.in\/over-founded\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Founded in the North<\/a>, which aims to support founders and connect the local ecosystem in Groningen, Friesland, and Drenthe.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/news\/future-tech-ventures-fund-for-startups-northern-netherlands\">Source<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Future Tech Ventures (FTV), a new venture capital firm focusing on startups in the Northern Netherlands, officially launched yesterday in Groningen.
