While the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/news\/orbital-rocket-launches-from-western-europe-for-first-time\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span>rocket exploded<\/span><\/a><span> shortly after takeoff,<\/span><span> the milestone could open the door for future commercial launches direct from the continent.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe had a clean liftoff, 30 seconds of flight, and even got to validate our flight termination system,\u201d Metzler said at the time. \u201cWith this result, we feel confident to approach our second flight.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Spectrum launch vehicles 2 and 3 are already in production, Isar said. However, no timeline has been provided for the next launch.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>American investment firm Elridge Industries issued the funding in the form of a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/terms\/c\/convertiblebond.asp#:~:text=A%20convertible%20bond%20is%20a,common%20stock%20or%20equity%20shares.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span>convertible bond<\/span><\/a><span>.
