outline existing plans to reduce greenhouse gases and improve air quality, and show how their plans would tackle an existing air quality problem.<\/p>\n<p><em>[Read:&nbsp;<a class=\"c-link c-message_attachment__title_link\" href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/distract\/2020\/12\/21\/how-netflix-shapes-mainstream-culture-explained-by-data\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-qa=\"message_attachment_title_link\"><span dir=\"auto\">How Netflix shapes mainstream culture, explained by data<\/span><\/a>]<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Oxfordshire County Council Leader, Cllr Ian Hudspeth, said: \u201cOxfordshire\u2019s bid comes at a time when our council is determined to take concerted climate action to cut vehicle air pollution and expand the provision of bus services with our<span>&nbsp;<\/span><a class=\"govuk-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oxford.gov.uk\/info\/20299\/air_quality_projects\/1305\/oxford_zero_emission_zone_zez\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Zero Emission Zone<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a class=\"govuk-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oxfordshire.gov.uk\/sites\/default\/files\/file\/roads-and-transport-connecting-oxfordshire\/connecting_oxford_brochure.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Connecting Oxford<\/a>&nbsp;plans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis council is committed to offering our residents a clean and environmentally sustainable future through a series of steps including through better public transport.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Going green<\/h2>\n<p>In February 2020,&nbsp;
