So, we might not be far off from seeing the first glimpse of Android 12.<\/p>\n<p>While there\u2019s no official announcement from the company, folks from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xda-developers.com\/android-12-first-look-screenshots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">XDA Developers<\/a>&nbsp;have published a bunch of screenshots that suggest upcoming changes to Google\u2019s new Android version.<\/p>\n<p>There are a lot of new things to notice such as redesigned widgets, but Android 12\u2019s possible privacy settings caught my eye. While it might seem like hyperbole at first, the \u201c<span>sensors off\u201d setting could be great for folks working in an information sensitive environment. But I\u2019m hoping that the company won\u2019t boot them out.<\/p>\n<p>Apple has raved about its <a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/apple\/2019\/06\/04\/privacy-is-apples-most-premium-product\/\">privacy efforts continuously.<\/a> If this feature makes it the final version of Android 12, it\u2019ll help Google earn some points in the security department.<\/p>\n<p><i>Did you know we have a newsletter all about consumer tech?
