But if the rumors are true, I won\u2019t need to do that with the next iPhone. But if rumors are true, I wouldn\u2019t need to do that with the next iPhone. Over the weekend, TipsterMax Weinbach and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=FqOujNnuHBg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">YouTube channel&nbsp;<\/a><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=FqOujNnuHBg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">EverythingApplePro<\/a>&nbsp;<\/em>posted a video claiming to have a lot of exclusive information about the upcoming iPhone;&nbsp;<span>one of the notable features mentioned was an always-on display.<\/span>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>[Read: <a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/shift\/2021\/02\/08\/polestar-batteries-blockchain\/\">How Polestar is using blockchain to increase transparency<\/a>]<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The video notes that the iPhone 13 will have a 120Hz&nbsp;<span>LTPO (low-temperature polycrystalline oxide) display which will show you information such as time, battery level, and weather in the always-on mode.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FqOujNnuHBg?start=100&amp;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen>[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Android phones have been doing this for a while, and Apple also did this with <a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/apple\/2019\/09\/10\/apple-watch-series-5-gets-an-always-on-display-and-399-starting-price\/\">its Apple Watch 5 series<\/a>. With an always-on display, I wouldn\u2019t need to do that and can avoid using the phone if I haven\u2019t got any important alerts.<\/p>\n<p>I really hope this feature makes it to the final version of the phone.
