Once you arrive at your location, you\u2019ll see a \u2018Pay for Parking\u2019 button in maps. Enter your meter number and payment info, and you\u2019re good to go. Likewise, you can extend&nbsp; the time on your meter via Maps as well.<\/p>\n<p><figure class=\"post-image post-mediaBleed aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1339472 lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn0.tnwcdn.com\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/1\/files\/2021\/02\/MapBanner_01_1-1.gif\" alt width=\"1500\" height=\"1000\" data-lazy=\"true\"><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>Given we\u2019re all trying to avoid unecessary touching these days, I appreciate that this mean you don\u2019t even need to touch a parking meter or switch to another app.<\/p>\n<p>Maps also now allows you to pay fares \u201cfor over 80 transit agencies around the world.\u201d For some of these, that means you\u2019ll be able to pay for your fares before you even get on a train, using the cards linked to your Google Pay account.
