{"id":3984,"date":"2021-03-26T11:49:24","date_gmt":"2021-03-26T11:49:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/?p=1344503"},"modified":"2021-03-26T11:49:24","modified_gmt":"2021-03-26T11:49:24","slug":"remind-yourself-to-take-breaks-at-work-with-this-free-mac-app","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.londonchiropracter.com\/?p=3984","title":{"rendered":"Remind yourself to take breaks at work with this free Mac app"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><span>We\u2019ve all been there: working for hours at a stretch without taking a break, and finding ourselves with hungry stomachs and stiff necks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you forget to take small breaks regularly, there\u2019s now an app for that. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/_HarshilShah\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Developer Harshil Shah<\/a> has made a simple menu bar app called Pause for Mac <span>to remind you to step away from your desk regularly throughout the day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The idea is neat and straightforward. Once you install the app, it\u2019ll ask you to set times for how frequently you want to take breaks and how long they should last.<\/p>\n<p>By default, it follows the 20-20 rule to remind you to stop working for 20 seconds every 20 minutes.
