Additionally, Xiaomi plans to invest $10 billion over the coming 10 years.<\/p>\n<p>Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, will also serve as the CEO of the new smart EV business.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-xiaomi-electric-great-wall-motor-excl-idUSKBN2BI05P\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Reuters<\/a> reported that the company will use Great Wall Motor Co.\u2019s factory for manufacturing and the first model is expected to arrive in 2023. Till now, Xiaomi hasn\u2019t detailed its production and launch plans.<\/p>\n<p>Xiaomi\u2019s not the only company vying to enter the automotive market.
