Earlier in April, Android Auto announced<\/a> that it would soon feature apps for navigation, parking, and EV charging, to increase choices and enhance the driving experience of its consumers. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Well, Google did commit to its promise.<\/p>\n

Starting yesterday, Android users are able to use the ChargePoint app on their Android Auto compatible vehicle. <\/span><\/p>\n

To do that, they only need to connect a phone running on Android 6.0 or above, and to download the app from the Play Store. <\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s great news for EV owners, as their car\u2019s infotainment system will directly display all the charging information they need.<\/p>\n

Using this app, drivers can find nearby stations on the map, check compatibility with their EV, begin a charging session, and monitor available spots and waiting times. They can even filter nearby stations by speed<\/span>, <\/span>availability, and cost. <\/span><\/p>\n

This way, ChargePoint\u2019s integration into Android Auto offers an easy and effective tool for electric mobility.<\/p>\n
