Unfortunately, the company didn\u2019t tell us when exactly that would be, but a new report from Korean publication <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ddaily.co.kr\/news\/article\/?no=217366\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">DigitalDaily News<\/a> (via <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2021\/07\/05\/report-samsung-unpacked-date-august-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">9to5Google<\/a>) claims the next Unpacked will take place on August 11, at 10 AM ET.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, Samsung will be launching five devices at the event:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Galaxy Z Fold 3<\/li>\n<li>Galaxy Z Flip 3<\/li>\n<li>Galaxy Watch 4<\/li>\n<li>Galaxy Watch 4 Active<\/li>\n<li>Galaxy Buds 2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Notably, the new Galaxy Watches will be Samsung\u2019s first to not use Tizen OS. <a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/news\/google-samsung-smartwatch-powercouple\">Google collaborated with Samsung<\/a> to revamp Wear OS from the ground up, making it smoother and more efficient.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully, the devices are able to maintain the long battery life Samsung\u2019s smartwatches have been known for, while having much greater compatibility with smartwatch apps via Wear OS. That said, the watch will use a custom One UI Watch skin \u2014 because it wouldn\u2019t be Samsung if it didn\u2019t put its own twist on the software.<\/p>\n<p>As for the Z Fold 3, it\u2019s expected to be a refinement of the original Fold\u2019s concept without major changes to the form factor. The biggest change aside from the expected spec bump is that the Z Fold 3 will support the S-Pen<\/p>\n<p>The event will reportedly be broadcast via YouTube, as per usual, and there is no indication the company plans to hold a concurrent physical event.
