But also not? Anyway! Say hello to Nintendo\u2019s OLED Switch. Or the Nintendo Switch (OLED model) if you prefer dumb names.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s right you beautiful people, a new Nintendo Switch will be hitting the shelves on October 8. I\u2019m so excited I\u2019m currently sitting here in a little puddle of pee. <a href=\"https:\/\/thenextweb.com\/news\/damn-feels-good-nintendo-switch-owner-e3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">I&nbsp;<em>love<\/em> the Nintendo Switch<\/a>, and I can\u2019t wait to get my grubby little mitts on this OLED model.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s talk about some new shit though.<\/p>\n<h2>New shit: OLED Switch style<\/h2>\n<p>As you can see above (and below), one of the new elements in the OLED Switch is a&nbsp;<i data-stringify-type=\"italic\">~ w i d e ~<\/i> adjustable stand. This will be a godsend for anyone who has struggled with the filmsy thing on the old Switch. In other words, everyone. You can also get the OLED Switch in the neon red and blue as previous editions, but\u2026 why? Have you seen the video? Hmm, probably not. It\u2019s a shame there\u2019s no 4K support. In fact, it\u2019s downright confusing there\u2019s no 4K support. The OLED screen will deliver crisper visuals, but the resolution remains the same as the old Nintendo Switch. Both in handheld and TV mode.<\/p>\n<p>It also appears that the OLED Switch has the same battery life as the original version. Which is\u2026 confusing?<\/p>\n<p>Really, this isn\u2019t a Pro Switch at all, it\u2019s simply the previous Switch in a new color with a fancy screen.
