The truth, however, is cities don\u2019t need to look like <\/span><i><span>Blade Runner<\/span><\/i><span> to be \u2018smart.\u2019 One of the greatest examples of this is the beautiful city of Barcelona.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>When you\u2019re walking through the narrow streets of the historic Gothic quarter, or whizzing by one of Gaud\u00ed\u2019s psychedelic buildings, \u2018smart city solutions\u2019 are probably the furthest thing from your mind.
