The Taiwanese company is now officially expanding its business areas and joining the EV game.<\/p>\n<p>At the Hon Hai Tech Day (<span>HHTD21) on Monday, Foxconn <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxconn.com\/en-us\/press-center\/press-releases\/latest-news\/694\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">unveiled<\/a> three electric vehicle prototypes, hoping to grow its emergent auto segment into a $35.88 billion (NT$1 trillion) enterprise within the next five years.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The three EVs \u2014 an SUV, a sedan, and a bus \u2014 were made by Foxtron, a joint venture between <span>Foxconn and Yulon Motor, a Taiwanese automaker, which also produces Nissan and Mitsubishi cars for the local market.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>The Model C<\/h3>\n<p>The Model C is Foxconn\u2019s first passenger EV. It\u2019s an average-sized sedan, which is, nevertheless, said to offer maximized storage and seating space.
