Once a year I\u2019m hit with an impossible question: how the hell do you review the new iPhone?<\/p>\n

Do you write for the tech-heads who obsess over every details? The broader public who may only upgrade their phone every few years? Sceptics? Fans? There\u2019s simply no right way.<\/p>\n

Making this even trickier is the fact the devices are now incredibly mature. This year\u2019s model (the iPhone 13 in case you didn\u2019t get that from the headline) continues a series of iterative upgrades that streamline the phone.<\/p>\n

In other words, you already kinda know what you\u2019re gonna get with a new iPhone: something incredibly familiar that\u2019s a bit better than what\u2019s come before.<\/p>\n

The difficulties in being incisive are clear.<\/p>\n

But, friends, I\u2019m not one to shirk a challenge. So, in the spirit of Not Letting The Man Get You Down, I\u2019d like to introduce you to my way of reviewing the Apple iPhone 13: a series of haikus.<\/p>\n

Instead though, we\u2019re going the haiku route.<\/p>\n

Why review the iPhone 13 with haikus?<\/h2>\n

Because they get straight<\/em><\/p>\n

to the point and are more fun<\/em><\/p>\n

than boring-ass prose.<\/em><\/p>\n

What\u2019s new with the iPhone 13 design?<\/h2>\n

Bigger camera bump.<\/em><\/p>\n

Diagonal lenses<\/a> and<\/em><\/p>\n

less notch. \u2018New\u2019 colors.<\/em><\/p>\n
